Thank you for your recent letter of September 4^th 2009, I was interested to read of the activities of the Association this past year and am delighted with the results obtained and with the excellent initiative of creating your own website.

Please convey my warmest congratulations to Afzal Ali Nawaz, Rizwan Ali Qurban Ali, Muhammad Azhar Amin Muhammad and also Arif Aziz and Murad Abbas (mentioned by you in your previous letter of June 29^th2009) for this distinction and honour; they have earned and received.

My congratulations go to you, personally, and to all those who work with you and who contribute to the development of the Ismaili District Boy Scout Association for Northern Areas and for Sindh.

I wish the District every success for the celebration of Chief Scout Day and I shall be interested to learn of the result of your speech contest. The scouting movement continues to have an important role to play in helping those who are least favoured, who suffer or who face difficulties alone. In our modern world it remains important to help others to help themselves, and to show the way with positive action.
