How to Qualify following Badges?

Membership Badge

Before being invested, a Boy must satisfy his Shaheen Leader that he knows the following:

Shaheen Promise & Law
Short History of Scout Movement
Shaheen Salute and Sign

Shaheen Membership Badge is worn on the Left Pocket, whereas World Brotherhood Badge is worn on the Right Pocket

Pahela Sitara Badge

Pahela Sitara Badge is earned by a Shaheen atleast within a Year after passing Membership Badge and is worn on Left Shoulder between Elbow and Shoulder

Spiritual Development

1. Know First Kalma Taiyaba with Translation
2. Say Salaam and reply according to system of Islam
3. Know Names and Timings of Namaz

Shaheens of other Religions will offer their Religious Rights according to their Faith

Intellectual Development

1. Rope work: How to Make and Know the uses of Reef Knot
2. Know how to perform Salam-e-Akbar with correct Method
3. Recite National Anthem
4. Know Properly His Home Postal Address
5. Know How to Polish Pair of Shoe
6. Know How to Serve a Cup of Tea
7. Know How to use Telephone
8. Know How to use Watch
9. Know Advantageous and Importance of Saving

Physical Development

1. Know the Basic Principles of Personal Cleanliness (teeth, nails, feet)
2. Maintain Balancing on Four (4) Inch Plinth
3. Know how to Throw and Catch Ball
4. Know Forward and Back Roll
5. Know the Importance of Keeping Handkerchief in the Pocket

Social Development

1. Participation in the Planning of Social and Community Service Projects at Unit or School level
2. Know Six (6) Types of Flowers and also know how to Prepare Album
3. Do a Good Turn Daily

Doosra Sitara Badge

Doosra Sitara Badge is earned by a Shaheen atleast within a Year after passing Pahela Sitara Badge and is worn on Left Shoulder between Elbow and Shoulder replacing Pahela Sitara Badge

While qualifying for Doosra Sitara Badge Shaheen is eligible to earn atleast One (1) Proficiency Badge

Spiritual Development

1. Know and be able to Recite Kalma Shahdat with Translation
2. Know Arkan-e-Islam
3. Know the Requirements of Namaz and Arkan-e-Namaz
4. Know How to Talk and know How to Act Practically in a Society

Shaheens of other Religions will offer their Religious Rights according to their Faith

Intellectual Development

1. Know About National Flag
2. Know the Names of Provinces of Pakistan and their Capitals
3. Rope Work: How to Make and Know the Uses of Sheet Bend and Clove Hitch
4. Know Timings of Sun Rise and Sun Set
5. Know How to Make and Prepare Model with Card Board (Box Board)
6. Know How to Prepare Tea and to Know how to Serve
7. Know How to Stitch Button with Thread and Needle
8. Know the Usage of Television and Radio

Physical Development

1. Demonstrate as Roll Model in Personal  Cleanliness in Front of Others
2. Know the Rules of Daily Exercise
3. Participate in School / Unit Games
4. Participate atleast Once in School / Unit Outdoor Meeting
5. Participate in One (1) Day Camp
6. Know How to Clean Injury
7. Know How to Stop Bleeding from Nose

Social Development

1. Know the Principles and Rules of Road Safety for Walking by foot and Crossing the road
2. Know Six (6) Types of Trees and also Prepare Album of Tree Leaves
3. Know the Methods for Saving Money out of Pocket expenses
4. Do a Daily Good Turn
5. Know the Methods and Types for Purifying water
6. Know the Advantageous and Usage of Dustbin
7. Know the Addresses and Telephone numbers of Important Places such as Emergency Numbers of Police Stations, Fire Brigades, Important Centres  and Hospitals etc.
8. Know and Record the Three Names of His Friends, their Habits and Hobbies

Teesra Sitara Badge

Teesra Sitara Badge is earned by a Shaheen atleast within a Year after passing Doosra Sitara Badge and is worn on Left Shoulder between Elbow and Shoulder replacing Doosra Sitara Badge

While qualifying for Teesra Sitara Badge, the Shaheen is eligible to earn atleast Two (2) more Proficiency Badges

Spiritual Development

1. Offer and Recite Namaz in Time and Regularly
2. Learn and Remember by Heart Four (4) Sura’h (Kul)
3. Know How to Make Preparation and Attend the Friday Namaz
4. Know the Rights of Parents
5. Know Eiman-e-Mufsal with its Translation

Shaheens of other Religions will offer their Religious Rights according to their Faith

Intellectual Development

1. Know How to Hoist and Lower National Flag
2. Know Pakistan and  Neighbouring Countries on the World Map
3. Rope Work:

How to Make and know the uses of Sheep Shank, Bowline and Round Turn and Two Half Hitches

1. Know the Proper Usage of Small Knife and Hammer
2. Know Eight (8) Basic Directions of Compass
3. Know Introduction of Computer
4. Know How to Stitch Badge with Thread and Needle

Physical Development

1. Know and Perform Daily Exercise
2. Participate in the Unit / School Games
3. Attended Two (2) Days Camp
4. Know Practical Execution of the Safety Rules and Demonstrate Practically How to Ride a Bicycle on the Road
5. Know the Disasters and Threats of Smoking

Social Development

1. Know Thoroughly  Saving Schemes
2. Know How to Plant a Tree and  keep watching on its Growth for atleast Six (6) Months
3. Know the Habits of Three (3) Animals and Birds and Prepare Album
4. Demonstrate Practically One (1) method for Purifying Water
5. Do a Good Turn Daily

Allama Iqbal Badge

Allama Iqbal Badge Certificate is issued by the Provincial Scouts Headquarters, Sindh alongwith the Signature of Provincial Commissioner

Allama Iqbal Badge is worn between left Shoulder and Elbow replacing Teesra Sitara Badge

Shaheen must be within 10 to 11 years of age

Shaheen must be Teesra Sitara Badge Holder

Shaheen must have earned atleast Three (3) Proficiency Badges, that is, atleast One (1) Proficiency Badge at the time of qualifying Doosra Sitara Badge and atleast Two (2) more Proficiency Badges at the time of qualifying Teesra Sitara Badge

Shaheen has to qualify Compulsory One (1) Proficiency Badge from each Group of Proficiency Badges as per National Youth Programme Policy & System of Pakistan Boy Scouts Association, so as to enable him to earn Allama Iqbal Badge (Page No. 14-15 Rule no. a-c of (1V)

Four (4) Proficiency Badges earned by Shaheen from different Four Groups of Proficiency Badges to qualify Allama Iqbal Badge will be stitched around Allama Iqbal Badge between Left Shoulder and Elbow and the remaining Proficiency Badges earned by Shaheen will be stitched between Right Shoulder and Elbow

Shaheen must have Thorough and Complete knowledge about the Life of Allama Iqbal and be able to recite atleast Three (3) Poems from Kalam-e-Iqbal (Verbally & Extempore)
